Our prayers have finally been answered! Yes, last night saw the return of Love Island to our TV’s, and we couldn’t be happier. After last year, it's safe to say the nation is addicted! As we sat down to watch another batch of hopefuls try to find love in the sun, we were greeted by a number of shocks, laughs and nail-biting moments. Lauren Swapping Alex For Wes
This episode saw Dr. Alex George, an A&E doctor from Wales get paired with Lauren Anderson, a cabin crew member from Scotland - and we were all about it! However, Lauren had other ideas. When she clocked eyes on new arrival Wes it was game over for poor Alex! Never mind hun, we still love you.
Eyal Is #Hairgoals
When male model Eyal appeared; Dani, Hayley, and Samira all stepped forward. Apparently, curly hair drives the girls mad, who knew?! In the end, Eyal chose West End performer Hayley, we thought he made a good choice.
Dani Revealed Who Her Dad Is
We mean, this one probably wasn’t so much of a shock. Rumours have been flying around social media and the tabloids for weeks about the daughter of Danny Dyer (also called Dani) joining the Love Island cast. However, somehow it didn’t make this revelation any less entertaining to watch. We wonder what her dad thinks.
Caroline’s Rock
Let’s be honest, we all love to be nosy. So obviously there was a part of all of us trying to sneak a look at Caroline Flack’s engagement ring when she was on screen. Thankfully, we weren’t the only ones! The female contestant seemed much more preoccupied with Miss Flack’s serious bling than anything else, and boy it didn’t disappoint!
Adam’s Cliffhanger
The end of this episode saw Adam receive a text instructing him to choose one girl he’d like to steal from her male co-star. However, when it came time for the nail-biting decision the show finished. THAT’S RIGHT! We now have to keep our eyes peeled to find out who Adam chose, those cruel producers!
