Avoid tumble dryers

The average household does almost 400 loads of laundry every year, consuming about 60,000 liters of water. Try to air dry your clothes outside instead if you're able to.

Rewear

There is nothing wrong with re styling old pieces to mix and match. Tbh this is were the best creations are made, so get mixing. Tip* when buying a new piece, think of 3 key components you can wear with it.

Invest in key statement pieces which you can wear all round season - like classic denim jeans, oversize blazers etc.
When it comes to your denim, wash it in side out to make them last much longer. We all know how hard it is to find that perfect fit, so treat them with care.
Shop from second hand and vintage stores - and let the hunt begin. You never know what hidden treasures you will find.

Easy ways to become more sustainable....

Switch it off

Less heating & more layers. Ever tired to first add a layer or 2 before switching on your heating? Try it you'll be surprised. Even switch off all standby appliances before you go sleep.

Recycle and reuse

We all buy plastic water bottles as it's a super easy option, but did you know one plastic bottle will break down into 10,000 microplastic pieces over time and is incredibly hard to clean up. Doing your weekly food shop? ditch the plastic bags at checkout and invest in a few god quality, recyclable shopping bags. You won't regret it.

Make sustainable beauty choices

We love a bit of pampering but ever thought about where your products come from? Try swapping to reusable cotton pads, organic shampoos and soap bars. Opt for non-synthetic, natural and biodegradable ingredients when shopping for your latest beauty products.
